Description

Spring Debate-- DebateAble's Tournament Session! We are offering two clubs Monday afternoons at McDonald. Debaters in both clubs are invited to participate in DebateAble's Sixth Annual Interschool Tournament on Saturday, June 10, a fun, engaging opportunity to show off their debate skills. Debate Club builds kids' confidence, critical thinking, and public speaking skills. DebateAble is the only debate program in the Pacific Northwest that offers Debate Clubs for elementary school students. DebateAble makes debate fun-- no experience required! Coach Amber Vandermeulen will prepare all students for the competition during regular club meetings, engaging in games and other activities that build critical thinking and public speaking skills, and working with students to formulate, practice and respond to arguments around the (still top secret) tournament topic. DebateAble encourages kids to find their own voices, and to listen to the voices of others.
