Description

Spring Debate-- DebateAble's Annual Tournament Session! Debate Club builds kids' confidence, critical thinking, and public speaking skills. DebateAble is the only debate program in the Pacific Northwest that offers Debate Clubs for elementary school students. DebateAble makes debate fun-- no experience required! During spring session of Debate, students will have the opportunity to compete in DebateAble's Sixth Annual Interschool Tournament. The tournament is a fun and popular event open to all registered debaters, scheduled this year for June 10. Coach Sarah Holt will help students prepare for the competition during regular club meetings, engaging in games and other activities that build critical thinking and public speaking skills, and working with students to formulate, practice and respond to arguments around this year's (still top secret) tournament topic. All DebateAble students are invited, but not required, to participate in the end of session tournament. DebateAble encourages kids to find their own voices, and to listen to the voices of others.
